Why I joined ThePowerMBA:

Hi all, I’m Neha Gandhi. I am originally from India and living in Germany for the last 10 years.

I joined ThePowerMBA last year on my birthday 30 October 2020, I am so glad that I took this decision.

Because of the pandemic it was the first time I had to work completely remote, the same as most of you, resulting in time saved from daily travel. Being a full-time working parent, I wanted to use this time wisely without having to sacrifice a lot.

Below are the few reasons that pulled my interest in this course:

Micro Learnings: it delivers learning in short chunks, it’s very well suited to learning on the go and making the most of short snatches of spare time. Only 15 minutes a day that one needs to spend per lesson. The whole course has been designed with micro learnings. It is completely online, and can be taken at anytime of your day.

Affordable: second factor was money, it is an affordable and inexpensive alternative to an MBA compared to traditional costly programs that demand a lot of your time and money. The program costs around $999.

Easy Video Content: easy consumable short videos and quizzes that can fit in my daily routine along with full-time demanding job.

Learning from practical experiences: It gives the opportunity to gain knowledge from the case studies of the world’s biggest game-changers with founders and top leaders of companies like Netflix, Tesla, Red Bull, or YouTube.

As a first step I reached ThePowerMBA team and expressed my interest and concerns. Last year they didn’t have any accreditation included, that was the only drawback I found. They reached me and clarified all my questions, and I was convinced that this is the course for me. After that, I did my own due diligence and connected with a few people on LinkedIn who had access to this course. They shared their positive views about the program and I then looked around and analysed for better courses compared to it, as MBA was not exactly what I was originally looking for. I wanted to learn and grow my skills regularly in my field and not by attending a program/ workshop that is for a day or two but rather which is continuous.

Then around a month or two passed by and on the night of my birthday I saw another advertisement on my screen with a discount of 150 dollars, I was thinking to register for this program for almost 3rd or 4th time. This moment their ad timings were quite apt I have to say haha. This was a perfect day for me to gift this to myself :).

In the middle of the night: after my birthday bash, I registered for the course. Trust me, I do not have a single day of regret about it, only praise!

I find it an impeccable course. They not only provides additional bonus materials during the course for completely free, which makes this program very modern and up-to-date.

From this year with minimum additional fee you can get Harvard Publishing Education material and certifications along with TPMBA.

Each class is of a very high quality. I followed classes with names such as Mark Randolph, co-founder of Netflix; Uri Levine, co-founder of Waze; Steve Chen, co-founder of YouTube; Jenny Fleiss, co-founder of Rent the Runway, and many others. They bring unique insights explaining how they come up with their ideas and how their products/services became successful today, what were the challenges they faced in their journey and a lot more.

As an Agile Coach I work with business leaders of the company and this course is helping me in deepening my knowledge on all the latest business related topics.

Through ThePowerMBA connection I found my mentee whom I started mentoring from last year. She is from my field and as well a TPMBA student, I support her in my free time and this is giving me a different perspective of teaching, mentoring and also coaching.

It gives me immense satisfaction from the work I am doing, and choices I am making now are impacting many lives on a positive side.

Moment of pride and a step ahead: I consider myself fortunate to also have been reached by the founders for sharing a case study on agile transformation at Sixt in the course. These sessions given by me are published in the leadership module. This made me trust this course even more. The way they are making these classes are super authentic.

Everything you learn is from practical experience of other experts from different fields in different modules.

The entire process of preparing for the case and recording it was organic, quick, and natural. I prepared my case based on my experience, and my friend and colleague Heiko Richter supported me and reviewed my content. Later a team came to my home to record the session. Allie Whitefleet who is the product owner of ThePowerMBA, is outstanding at her job and she supported me throughout the process of recording.

This experience has encouraged me to go ahead, and also gave an inspiring network to connect with. After viewing my session, lots of TPMBA started connecting with me on LinkedIn. This also helped me develop my network and connect with great professionals.

Now they love me as much as I love their course, and they gifted me free access to one ThePowerMBA to give away to my network. On top of that I have received Harvard Publishing Education add-on for free plus ThePowerCareer 😍

I cannot wait to share a lot of my learnings through this program in next articles to come. Stay tuned and a little hand clap will help it reach the right audience 🙏
